Kawa of Care

This week with Vicki we talked about the kawa of care for our chrome books.  We talked and learnt about how we can best look after our chrome books and how we can encourage others to also do this.  We then created some comic strips demonstrating our learning.  And here, we share some of our creations.

  1. Wow Room 6, how clever are you showing the Kawa of Care so well in your comic strips. I will have to share your class blog with some of my learners who have been making posters to show how they show the Kawa of Care with their devices. I really like how you used the thought bubbles to share how the devices were feeling, what a novel idea. Did you have a discussion about what they might say before you captioned your comic strip?

  2. Hi Nicola, thanks for the kind comment you left on our class blog. We talked about how our Chromebooks might feel if we don't look after them. We love our Chromebooks and we know we need to look after them. We would like to know what are the schools like that you go to? Can we see any of the posters they have made? From Vicki & Room 6 at Waitohu School.

We are Kauri class, Oruaiti School in the Far North. We love how well you explained how to care for your chromebooks! We also liked how you demonstrated stepping on the chromebook on the floor. When we were reading your comic strips we noticed that some of the speech bubbles were outside of the screen. Maybe next time you could try and put them inside so that we can your awesome ideas.

We also created our own comic strips to practise looking after our chromebooks.

We are looking forward to seeing more posts from you in the future.
